A man was arrested Monday, Oct. 31, in connection with several fires that were set along Highway 36 near Westwood earlier that morning.

Original post 6:30 a.m. - A M4.1 earthquake was felt at 6:25 a.m. Sunday morning in Plumas, Lassen and Sierra counties. The epicenter was in a similar location as the quake last Wednesday, this time it was nine miles SSE from Whitehawk, CA (39.604°N, 120.473°W), with a depth of 8.7 miles.
