Advertisement: Plumas Meat Market features Easter specials including leg of lamb for 28 cents a pound, roast beef 15 cents a pound, pork roast 15 cents a pound, Easter ham 29 cents a pound, rolled veal roast 20 cents a pound.

The contract to rebuild the mill that will be replacing the one destroyed at the Standart Mine in Greenville two months ago was awarded. The new mill will be housed in an all metal building.

The construction of a large building to house a grocery store and drug store located next to the Batson Hospital in Greenville began this week.

An anti-picketing Plumas County public ordinance was adopted at a special meeting of the Plumas County Board of Supervisors this week, providing that remarks and other forms of communication to provoke a breach of the peace, shall be unlawful.

More than 70 yards of cement were poured Saturday for the Belden Garage located at the south end of the Belden bridge of the North Fork of the Feather River.

Four new cases of Scarlet Fever were reported in Plumas County this week.

A seven man committee to carry out an advertising program for Plumas County on behalf of the Plumas County Board of Supervisors was appointed this week.
