On September 12, 2012, Alfred G. Vazquez, District Ranger of the Almanor Ranger District, signed a Decision Memo authorizing thinning and mastication of 551 acres of pine plantations. The project is located in T. 28 N., R. 6 E., sec. 8-11, 14-17; T. 29 N., R. 5 E., sec. 21; and T. 29 N., R.7 E., sec. 5-8, 17-18. Copies of the Decision Memo are available at Almanor Ranger District office or www.fs.usda.gov/projects/lassen/landmanagement/projects. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PLUMAS Local Agency Formation Commission will hold a public hearing on the following item:
A Municipal Service Review for services provided by the Almanor Park and Recreation District, Chester Cemetery District, Hamilton Branch CSD, Hamilton Branch Fire Protection District (HBFPD), West Almanor CSD (WACSD), Prattville-Almanor Fire Protection District (PAFPD), Peninsula Fire District, Chester Public Utility District (CPUD), Seneca Healthcare District, and Walker Ranch CSD within northwestern Plumas County. LAFCO is required to conduct a Municipal Service Review consistent with the policies and procedures of Plumas LAFCO and the LAFCO Act.
The Hearing Draft Municipal Service Review will be available for review at the LAFCO webpage 14 days prior to the public hearing on the LAFCO website at www.calafco.org/local/plumas.
