Mt. Huff Wednesday Morning Scramble

The first Wednesday Morning Scramble of the fall season brought a great turnout of golfers to Mt. Huff!

In first place for this week’s competition was the team of Ted Trafton, Gary Metzdorf, and Mike Ingle.

Second place went to the team of John Hackett, Norm Miller and Dick Grace.

Closest to the pin win went to Ted Trafton.

  There was no chip-in winner.

Come out and join us. The sun is bright, the air is crisp in the morning and the weatherman (he is always right!) tells us we are going to have great weather for several more weeks.

Lake Almanor West Women’s Golf Club

Today was our last play for the season. It was “Invite your Mate.”

So, we play 18 holes with six of them as a scramble, the next six as alternate shots and the last six as a best ball.

And then we have a lovely lunch with cash awards to the top three teams.

First place went to Bill and Kathy Doms with a net 62.57. Second place went to Tom and Kathi Shennan with a net 64.98. Third place went to Bob and Arlene Cary with a net 66.40.

Accuracy awards went to Adrienne Fagalde and Will Wright.

Have a great fall and winter, everyone.
