Indian Valley Community Services District manager resigns

Indian Valley Community Services District general manager Frank Richardson has resigned effective Monday, Dec. 3.

The district’s board of directors announced the resignation at their Wednesday, Nov. 14 meeting. A closed session to receive Richardson’s letter of resignation was added to the regular meeting agenda.

No reason was given for Richardson’s resignation. He offered to be available to work with staff for up to 30 days on evenings and weekends, as needed.

“I appreciate the opportunities I have been given here and wish you much success in the future,” he wrote.

Directors scheduled another closed session for Monday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. to talk about the position to be filled.

They will meet at their Greenville office in the Indian Valley Professional Building on Highway 89.

Their next regular meeting will be Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m.; the location will be the same.
