League of Women Voters select essay award winners

Terry Swofford, chairman of the Plumas County Board of Supervisors, congratulates the winners of the League of Women Voters annual essay contest, from left: Jennifer Mathes, Justina Anderson and Ava Hagwood. Mathes and Anderson were the runners-up and received certificates and checks for $50. Hagwood won the grand prize of $200.
