  Carter Richard Wert was born to Lance and Carly Wert of Anderson Jan. 20, 2013, at 12:21 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff. Carter weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20-1/2 inches in length.

  Maternal grandparents are Mick and Teresa Wilson of Chico.

  Paternal grandparents are Terry and Sheri Wert of Quincy.

  Great-grandmothers are Alice Wilson, of Red Bluff, Ruth Upton, of Gerber, and Margaret Wert of Chico.

  Carter is also welcomed by siblings Logan, 4, and Curtis, 2.
