Cadence Dawn Nekut was born to Adam and Jessie Nekut, of Quincy, on Jan. 27, 2013, at 11:45 p.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Cadence weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Don and Karla Davis, of Quincy.
Paternal grandparents are Orville and Linda Nekut, of Lakewood, Wash.
Great-grandmothers are Rose Bankston, of Redding, and Kay Hamilton, of Casper, Wyo.
Cadence is also welcomed by siblings Theresa, 16, Caleb, 13, Natalie, 11, Rebecca, 10, and Stephan, 2.
