The third annual Good Grief Golf Tournament returns to Bailey Creek on Saturday, June 8. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
The tournament is being organized by Sierra Hospice, and proceeds go to Sierra Hospice’s programs. Sierra Hospice is a volunteer and community based organization that provides end-of-life aid and support to patients and families.
The cost is $120 per player and includes 18 holes and lunch. Additional lunch tickets are available for $15. Registered golfers are also eligible for a $100 door prize drawing.
Hole sponsorships and memory flags are also available for purchase.

The Bailey Creek Golf Club will host the Sober Grad Golf Tournament on June 14 organized by the 140 Squad Club. Check in starts at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The four person scramble format will also feature prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin.
The tournament costs $115 to enter and is limited to the first 140 players. The cost includes the green fees, a shared cart and a tri-tip dinner.
Checks can be made payable to 140 Squad Club and sent to 472-400 Diamond Crest Road, Susanville, CA 96130. Fees must be received for a spot to be reserved.
Giving Back Golf Tournament will take place June 23 at Mt. Huff Golf Course. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m. and four-person scramble tees off at 9 a.m.
The tournament costs $45 per person and includes green fees, lunch and tournament prizes. Lunch only is available for $12. The tournament benefits the Wounded Warrior Project.
