LongboardRaces
Due to a lack of snow at the Johnsville Historic Ski Bowl, the first set of longboard races scheduled Sunday, January 19, 2014 has been canceled. Plans for the February and March races are still in place.

February’s races will coincide with Graeagle Plumas Alliance’s annual Winter Snowfest, set for Feb. 14 – 16. In addition to including the longboard races, the Winter Snowfest will feature the state championship snowshoe races.

The inaugural Snowshoe Thompson Championship Cup will take place, along with cross-country ski and snowshoe tours. At Lake Davis, the Portola Rotary Club will host a snowmobile poker run. The longboard races will conclude the series of outdoor events in February’s Winter Snowfest.
