Hospital re-use, geothermal, surplus property issues up for discussion

A hospital re-use study and a report on the 2009 audit are two items up for discussion Monday, March 1, at 5:30 p.m., when directors of the Indian Valley Health Care District meet in the Indian Valley Civic Center at 430 Main St. in Greenville.

Also up for possible action will be the study of geothermal alternatives and a legal opinion in the disposition of surplus property.

Directors will also hear an update about the Greenville Wellness Partnership, as well the Indian Valley Medical Clinic and the Indian Valley Ambulance Service Authority.

Members of Plumas Corporation and the Plumas County Community Development Commission have already reviewed the study, although it has not yet been released to the public.

More information about it will be available to the public at the meeting and in later issues of the newspaper.
