Notice is hereby given by the Local Agency Formation Commission that a public hearing will be held on April 12th, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Plumas County Board of Supervisor's Chambers 520 Main Street, Quincy, California, regarding the following:

Proposed 2010-2010 LAFCO Budget. The Commission will consider the proposed 2010-2011 budget to make an initial determination thereon by the Commission. Any person may be heard regarding the increase, decrease, or omission of any item from the budget or for the inclusion of additional items. The proposed budget documents will be available for review on the Plumas LAFCO webpage and at the Plumas County Planning Dept., 555 Main St. Quincy, CA.

Grant funding hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on April 6, 2010 at 11:10 A.M., at the Plumas County Board of Supervisor Chambers, 520 W. Main St., 3rd Floor, Quincy, CA in order to discuss and solicit citizen input on redirecting program funds under Community Development Block Grant 05-STBG-1782 to complete the Almanor Basin Community Center and provide matching funds for the Tobin water system repair.

The purpose of the public hearing will be to give citizens an opportunity to make their comments known. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may direct written comments to the County of Plumas c/o Plumas County Community Development Commission, P.O. Box 319, Quincy, CA 95971 or you may call the Commission at (530) 283-2466 with questions or comments. In addition, a CDBG public information file may be obtained at the above address between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. on weekdays to find out more information about the CDBG program.
