Effect From 8 AM This Morning To 11 PM PDT This Evening For
Western Plumas County And The Lassen Park Area.
• Snow Accumulations: 8 To 12 Inches Of Snow Above 7000 Feet
With 1 To 3 Inches Above 4000 Feet.
• Elevation: Above 4000 Feet.
• Timing: Snow Showers Will Become Moderate To Heavy At Times
Today Before Tapering Off This Evening.
• Locations Include: Lassen Park...Chester...Quincy
• Winds: South Winds 15 To 25 Mph. Southwest Wind Gusts In
Excess Of 40 Mph Over Ridges And Passes.
• Impacts: Hazardous Travel In The Mountains With Reduced
Visibility In Snow And Blowing Snow. Hazardous Back Country
And Recreational Conditions.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
