With an outstanding lineup of musicians for its 20th annual event, the High Sierra Music Festival is offering significant discounts to locals who would like to enjoy the festival in Quincy July 1-4.
Residents of Plumas and Sierra counties are eligible for the reduced ticket prices, and must display identification with the proper zip code. There is a limit of one adult pass per I.D.The following zip codes qualify for the discount: 95923, 95934, 95936, 95947, 95956, 95971, 95980, 95983, 95984, 96020, 96103, 96105, 96106, 96118, 96122, 96124, 96126, 96129, 96135, 96137.
Locals can buy themselves single-day tickets for the following rates: Thursday is $40 (non-local $50), Friday is $60 (non-local $80), Saturday is $55 (non-local $75) and Sunday is $50 (non-local $65).
Residents of Plumas and Sierra counties also have the option to buy discounted multi-day passes: A four-day pass is $175 (non-local $210), a three-day pass is $165 (non-local $195) and a two-day pass is $125 (non-local $155).
Local kids age 6-12 can get tickets for $10 a day.
To purchase tickets, go to the box office near Trilogy Lane off Lee Road and present a driver’s license or other form of identification.
