Again the tournament was a huge success. Both the Chimney Fund and Chester High School Sports, this year the ski and snow board team, will each receive over $2000. I want to thank all the green and tee-box sponsors, all the players and those who donated to the event — you are the people who make the donations to the charities happen.
We had no hole in one shots, ($15,000 prize, sponsored by Rouland Insurance and Arlie Holland of Coldwell Banker Real Estate) but lots of winners.

Whitehawk Ranch ladies
The Whitehawk Ranch lady golfers were quite busy last Tuesday with a fun play day, their summer board meeting and a barbeque lunch on the deck following golf. There was a progressive golf game played that day... one net ball counting the first six holes, then two net balls the second six hole and then three net balls on the final six holes.
The first place team included Laurie McKenzie, Patsy Purvis, Mary Schell and Pamela Burke who lead her team to victory with an amazing low net of 62!
Second place went to the team of Cynthia Faulk, Diane Romig, Della Miller and Patty McNamara.
The first round of match play is about to finish for the Whitehawk ladies with two matches needing to be played within the month of July.
