Quincy attorney Garrett Olney this week announced the opening of his office of the general practice of law effective August 1. He is relocating to Meadow Valley from Alameda where he was deputy District Attorney for Alameda County for the last four years. His late father, Warren Olney, served as chief clerk of the United States Chief Justice Earl Warren.
Peter Hentschel, Quincy attorney was elected to serve as chairman of the Feather River Advisory Board this week with David Adrian, also a Quincy attorney, serving as vice president.

Greyhound Bus Lines, scheduled to discontinue service through Plumas County, has agreed to continue the daily routes from Reno to Oroville.
