Realtor receives certification
Jane Staudenmayer attended a symposium for the National Association of Realtors in South Lake Tahoe recently where she was certified as a resort and second home specialist. This new RSPS designation is awarded to real estate professionals who wish to demonstrate and promote to consumers their expertise in the specialty. According to the NAR, there are fewer than 1,200 Realtors in the nation with this certification. Jane has had her real estate license for 15 years and has worked the last five years for Century 21 Lake Almanor Real Estate, which is owned and operated by Broker Mary Getz.
New barber in Quincy
George Scheuchenzuber III now works at Hugh’s Barber Shop on Main Street in Quincy across from the courthouse. George welcomes walk-ins and appointments for men and children’s haircuts and hot shaves for men.
Opens new chiropractic office
Steven P. Grosse, D.C. is opening a second chiropractic office in Graeagle at The Barn complex on the corner of Highway 89 and 70. Attends colorado equine course
Susan Holmes, CEAP of Heaven’s Gate Equine Acupressure in Quincy, just completed a graduate course in equine acupressure and massage. The course, Integrated Massage and Acupressure: Caring for Tendon and Ligament Conditions, was offered at Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in Larkspur, Colorado. Susan said the traditional Chinese medicine approach to tendon and ligament health, causative factors in injuries, and therapeutic protocols were the focus of the course.
