Cooper Russell Hays was born to Sarah Rose and Roland Hays of Meadow Valley Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at 1:16 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 20-1/2 inches at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Shelly and Arney Pinelli of Quincy and Scott Rose of Portola.

Paternal grandparents are Melissa and Rusty Hays of Meadow Valley.

Great-grandparents are Dale Hays Sr., also of Meadow Valley; DeAnne and Leonard Mosley and Jane and Tom Gossett, all of Quincy; Doris Rose and Thomas Asbury, both of Arizona; and Gene and Charlene Machado of Arroyo Grande.

Great-great-grandmother is Thelma Johnson.




Bently Wyatt Vaughn was born Aug. 30, 2010, to Ashley Wade and Rory Vaughn at Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nev.

He weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 18-1/4 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Mark and Martha Vaughn of Greenville; maternal grandmother is Patty Wade of Reno.

Bently joins big sister Alexus Vaughn, 10.
