Indian Valley Editor
Those who are interested in the grass-roots move to take back the country might like to attend the Tea Party organizational meeting for Indian Valley area Wednesday, Oct 20. The meeting will be at 6 p.m., in room 5 of the old Main Street School, located across from the Greenville Post Office.
The non-partisan group is an offshoot of the Almanor Basin Tea Party, where there will be another meeting Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m., in the Chester Veterans Memorial Hall.
The hall is located on Gay Street, behind Maria Walker’s Restaurant.
There will also be November meetings in both towns.
The focus of the group is information sharing, and not to endorse a particular candidate. Since elections are imminent, much of the information shared at the next meetings will be about the propositions.
For more information about the Indian Valley group, those interested may call Linda Hampton at 530-284-6975.
