Will be received at Susanville Indian Rancheria Housing Authority Office, 870 G Joaquin St., Susanville, California 96130, until 5:00 p.m. on December 7, 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the office at the above address.

General Work Description:

Install underground utilities, storm drain, fire hydrants, curb, gutter and sidewalk, base rock and asphalt paving as noted on plans dated September 30, 2010 by NST Engineering, Inc. titled "2010 TAKO-NEE ROAD EXTENSION".

Walk through is required for all prospective bidders. Pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., November 23, 2010 at the end of Tako-Nee Road.

The successful bidder must possess the following proper classification of Contractor's license: General Engineering license.

Plans and specifications may be obtained at the Office of the Project Engineer, NST Engineering, Inc., 1495 Riverside Drive, Susanville, CA. A copy of the bid documents may be obtained at the Engineer's Office upon request and payment of $20.00. The amount of the payment is charged at cost and is not refundable.

The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.

Contractor shall furnish his standard contract upon the acceptance of the bid. The Housing Authority shall review the document with its legal counsel prior to signing the contract.

Susanville Indian Rancheria Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

This project will be using ARRA funds. The Davis Bacon Act wage guidelines shall apply. The Contractor will have to supply documents showing that the Davis Bacon wage guidelines were used.
