Kayden Malachai James T. Simmons was born to Melissa DeBernardi and Krig Bradley of Portola on May 16, 2011, at 7:38 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Kayden weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Sari Clark of Sacramento and Dave Simmons of JohnDay, Ore.
Paternal grandparent is Sheree Dionne/Nelson of Florence, Ariz.
Kayden is also welcomed by siblings Dustin DeBernardi, 16, Isaac DeBernardi, 13 and Korah Simmons, 9.
