NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on August 9, 2011, at the hour of 6:30 pm in the East Quincy Services District office located at 179 Rogers Ave., Quincy California for the purpose of establishing, a final Budget for Fiscal Year 2011-2012. The final budget will be adopted at the above stated meeting and a copy will be on file and made available to the public the next business day. This notice is published in compliance with Government Code 61110.
At said hearing the East Quincy Services District will consider all comments by interested persons.

The Fant Fire Salvage Timber Sale is located within Sec 2, 3, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 22, 24, 25, 35, 36, T27N, R11E and Sec 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, 30, 31, T27N, R12E, MDM. The USDA, Forest Service will receive sealed bids at the Mt Hough Ranger District, 39696 Hwy 70, QUINCY, CA at 10:00 AM local time on 07/13/2011 for an estimated volume of 384 MBF of incense cedar sawtimber, 1018 MBF of ponderosa pine sawtimber, 250 MBF of sugar pine sawtimber, and 1695 MBF of white fir sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting.  In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Combined Softwood cull logs, Douglas fir sawtimber, Combined Softwood non-saw, Salvage Douglas fir sawtimber, Salvage incense cedar sawtimber, Salvage lodgepole pine sawtimber, Salvage ponderosa pine sawtimber, Salvage sugar pine sawtimber, and Salvage white fir sawtimber that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. A PETITION FOR PROBATE has been filed by: Tony King in the Superior Court of California, County of Plumas.
THE PETITION FOR PROBATE requests that: Tony King be appointed as personal representative to administer the estate of the decedent.
THE PETITION requests authority to administer the estate under the Independent Administration of Estates Act. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Board of Commissioners of the Quincy Fire Protection District has adopted a preliminary budget for: (1) Salaries and wages, (2) Services and Supplies, and (3) Fixed Assets, which preliminary budget can be inspected during week days at Station 1, 505 Lawrence St., between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and that said Board of Commissioners of the said District will meet at Feather River Bulletin, 287 Lawrence St., on July 14, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. for the purpose of fixing the final budget for said Fire Protection District at which time and place any taxpayer may appear and be heard regarding the increase, decrease or omission of any item on the budget, or for the inclusion of any additional items.

NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
PLUMAS NATIONAL FOREST
The Canyon Dam MP Timber Sale is located within Sections 14, 15, 22, 26, 27, 28, 33 and 34 of T.27N., R.8E.,MDM. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Mt Hough Ranger District Offices at 10:00AM local time on 07/27/2011 for an estimated volume of 583.9 CCF of Douglas fir sawtimber, 482.4 CCF of incense cedar sawtimber, 651 CCF of ponderosa pine sawtimber, 149.4 CCF of sugar pine sawtimber, 1443.5 CCF of white fir sawtimber, and 2691.2 CCF of combined softwood biomass marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Mt Hough Ranger District, 39696 Hwy 70, Quincy CA, 95971, ph (530) 283-0555.

LICENSED TIMBER OPERATOR
INVITATION TO BID
A California Licensed Timber Operator is needed to perform timber harvesting at Baker Forest in Meadow Valley. Primary work will involve harvesting approximately 475 MBF of young growth timber. Contractors capable of performing all types of harvesting (primarily group selection and commercial thinning in young stands), road reconstruction and maintenance, and log delivery during August and October of 2011 are invited to obtain the general work requirements and bid form by contacting:
