This document is proposed to be adopted and has been filed with the Department of Planning & Building Services. It is now available for inspection and review.
Plumas Corporation, with the Goodwin Ranch and the Plumas National Forest, Beckwourth Ranger District, are jointly developing plans to restore 2.9 miles of channel and 253 acres of floodplain in Dotta Canyon by eliminating incised gullied channels using the pond and plug technique.
The subject property is located in Dotta Canyon, approximately 9 miles north of Beckwourth, CA, on Assessor's Parcel Numbers 009170004, 009170005, 00917USA; Sections 25, 26, and 36, Township 24 North, Range 14 East MDM.

NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
PLUMAS NATIONAL FOREST
The Otis Ranch MP Thin Timber Sale is located on the Beckwourth Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest. The majority of the project area encompasses the Penman Peak, Jackson Creek, Happy Valley and Willow Creek area, approximately 7 miles north of the town of Graeagle, CA. The project is located in all or portions of T23N, R12E, Sections 13-15, 18-24, 26, 27, 29-33; T22N, R12E, Sections 3-5; T23N, R13E, Section 31; T22N, R13E, Sections 5, 6.
The Otis Ranch MP Thin Timber Sale plans to treat 1,723 acres on National Forest System land. The project would involve a combination of understory thinning of commercial size conifers, biomass removal and grapple piling. The project area has an estimated 12,418 CCF of sawtimber comprised of 3,678 CCF of ponderosa pine sawtimber, 7,381 CCF of white fir/red fir sawtimber, 400 CCF of incense cedar sawtimber, 894 CCF of Douglas-fir sawtimber and 64 CCF of lodgepole pine sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, within the sale area there is an estimated 21,519 CCF of combined softwood (non-sawtimber) that the bidder agrees to remove at a fixed rate.
