Ordinance adopted
The Beckwourth Fire District has adopted a new ordinance titled:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BECKWOURTH FIRE DISTRICT RELATING TO CLAIMS AGAINST THE DISTRICT".
In summary, this ordinance will limit any and all claims against the Fire District to a limit of one year.
Any and all claims shall be made in writing and verified by the claimant or by his/her guardian, conservator, executor, or administrator.
In accordance with Government Code sections 935(b) and 945.6, 940-949, and 950-951. Health and Safety Code section 13861.

This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption.  Board of Directors adopted the claim ordinance on October 20, 2011, and the ordinance shall take effect on November 19, 2011.
