making note…

Graeagle Vacation Rentals and Plumas Pines Vacation Rentals, located at the entrance to Plumas Pines – Plumas Eureka Estates, proudly notes that the family-owned business has been serving property owners and vacationers to the Graeagle area since the 1970s. Owners Carol Joyce, Kerry Bowling and Erin Klemesrud shared with us that the vacation rental company employed the first property managers serving Plumas Eureka Estates and they arranged for renting homes and villas on the Plumas Pines Golf Course before the golf course even opened. Besides providing lodging and stay, play and dine golf packages with Plumas Pines Golf Course and Longboards Bar & Grill, they also have discounted group rates for special events such as weddings, family gatherings and class reunions.

Edward jones national rankings

Financial-services firm Edward Jones ranked No. 5 on Fortune magazine’s list of the “100 Best Companies to Work For.” The investment firm also ranked No. 3 on the list for large-sized companies and No. 2 for work-life balance for associates who feel encouraged to balance their work and personal life, making Edward Jones the highest ranking financial firm on Fortune’s list. In an independent study, J.D. Power and Associates also rated the firm the “Highest in Employee Advisor Satisfaction.” No surprise really. If you have ever dealt with Steven King in Quincy or Brack Green or Carla Parsons, Susanville, you know first-hand why the firm earned these ratings and how proud these three financial advisors are to be associated with Edward Jones.

Make a note: Steve King is having an open house with food and drink at his new offices on Bradley Street May 18 to celebrate his 20th anniversary in Quincy with Edward Jones.
