The email server for Plumas County has been down this week and isn’t expected to be operational again until perhaps after Christmas. Supervisor Lori Simpson made the announcement via her Facebook page, and District Attorney David Hollister called the newspaper to alert the public. Hollister said the server has been down since Monday, while Simpson said the problem began on Tuesday. Anyone who sent an email this week, should try to recontact the individual or department by phone or in person. No email is going in or out. The problem affects those county departments whose address is @countyofplumas.com. The Sheriff’s Office isn’t affected.
