Election deadline Friday

A host of elected positions will be on the June 5 Primary ballot, but as of this morning, Thursday, March 8, most incumbents remain unchallenged. Following, are the candidates who have filed for the Direct Primary Election; the only challenge thus far is for District 3 Supervisor where Sherrie Thrall is being challenged by Joseph Maumoynier. Two incumbents — Auditor Roberta Allen and Superintendent of Schools Terry Oestreich — have taken out the necessary papers, but had not filed yet. The deadline to file is tomorrow, March 9, at 5 p.m.
