Plumas Audubon hosts Chester bird walk

Plumas Audubon Society is hosting a river and meadow bird walk Saturday, May 10, in Chester.

Participants will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Chester High School parking lot at the end of First Street. To carpool from Quincy meet at the post office at 6:15 a.m.

The walk, led by Ryan Burnett, will last for several hours and follows the North Fork Feather River to Lake Almanor.

Attendees may bring a pack with lunch and drinks if they wish to participate in a group lunch in the meadow.
