Three passengers and the pilot of this Cherokee 180 escaped injuries when the pilot made an emergency landing in a field just east of the Quincy airport Sunday morning.

The plane’s pilot, Larry Parker, said the aircraft never developed full power as he departed a little after 11 a.m. for a scenic flight as part of the annual Father’s Day Fly-In festivities at Gansner Field. Photo by Mike Taborski
