Arrests made in Meadow Valley home invasion
Four men were recently arrested for their alleged involvement in a home invasion robbery in Meadow Valley last week.
Christopher Cudia, 25, Ronnie Williams, 22, Darnell Hamilton, 21, and Sterling Jamison, 22, were charged with robbery and burglary.
The Plumas County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received a call from a female at 4:55 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, reporting that four males just broke into her residence and removed electronic equipment and other items of value.
The victim told deputies she was home alone in bed when loud pounding at her front door woke her up around 4 a.m.
She said that she got out of bed and started walking down the hallway towards the front door, thinking her boyfriend had just come home.
The victim described four males bursting through the front door and moving towards her, causing her to run back into her bedroom, with one of the men following her.
According to a press release, one of the males stood at the doorway to her bedroom and began to question her about “where the money was kept.”
The victim said this man stood by the door, holding it closed, while she heard the others going through her residence.
She said the intruders left after approximately 10 minutes of rummaging around. When she left her room to call the police, she noticed several missing items.
Investigation by deputies and detectives led to the four suspects being arrested.
The four men are being held on $100,000 bail each.
