Mt. Huff
Golf season is in full swing at Mt. Huff Golf Course.
Thursday, April 19, was the first of the year scramble. The evening was beautiful and the golf course is coming along very nicely.
There were five full teams, eager to hit the links. The team of Ron Ridge, Jim Bryant, Margie Joseph, Darel Joseph and Bill McRoberts came in first at a whopping 6 under while the team of Dick Dalton, Lance Mortenson, Ralph Cote and Greg Stevens came in second.
Closest to the pin Margie Joseph and the longest drive went to Greg Stevens.
The scrambles will be held every Thursday evening (weather permitting) with check-in starting at 4:30 p.m. and tee off at 5 p.m. You don’t need a group, just come on out and we will make sure you are with a great bunch of people.
Ralph is starting his Wednesday morning scramble with check-in at 9:30 a.m.
We are also having the World Famous Big-6 Tournament April 28. Call the club (284-6300) for more information.
We hope to see you out; we will have lots of things planned.
To have your golf club included in the weekly results, email the information to sports@plumasnews.com or fax it to 283-3952 by Friday at 3 p.m.
