Greenville High School Sober Grad Committee members are pleading for help from the community.

Grad Night is a safe, sober and tobacco free celebration for graduates that is organized and funded solely by parents, community members and supportive local businesses.

Statistically, high school graduation night is the most dangerous evening in a young adult’s life.

Since the inception of the local event, the community has been very successful in keeping its graduates safe.

Organizers are asking for donations this year to help them provide a safe, sober and tobacco free environment for graduates and their fellow schoolmates.

Donations of money or prizes are much appreciated.

Suggestions for prizes could be anything from store gift cards to household items such as toasters, blenders, dishes, grills, clock radios, microwaves, coffee makers, beach towels, chairs, sleeping bags, camping equipment, tools, jewelry and other items.

Donations of prizes and checks payable to the GHS Sober and Tobacco Grad Night Committee can be dropped off at the high school, or mailed to 117 Grand Street, Greenville CA 95947.

Donations are tax deductible, and an identification number will be provided to those who ask.
