The low pressure area that was over the Pacific Northwest has finally moved to the east.  As it was moving out it sent one more shot of clouds across the north state.  This is why it got cloudy for a while yesterday afternoon. 

Today is  starting off sunny but a weak low pressure trough is moving across the Pacific toward the coast and will move across Northern California late today and Sunday.  The north coast, Trinity, Siskiyou, and Modoc counties will increasing clouds this afternoon with isolated light showers late this afternoon and evening through Sunday afternoon. .  The valley and the rest of the north state will be sunny with a few clouds this afternoon and Sunday.   Temperatures today will be cooler in the north but slightly warmer elsewhere.  Gusty southwest to northwest winds will occur this afternoon.
