With the possible closure of the Plumas County Visitors Bureau this month due to lack of county funding, tourism industry partners are looking for help. One Chester area lodging owner has designed a survey to collect data and ideas to continue to improve tourism in Plumas County.
This survey was intended for businesses in Plumas County, but the public is also invited to take part in this brief survey if they have ideas to share, and they are encouraged to forward the survey to business owners and managers, or any of the other 1,400 people in the county whose jobs may be impacted by tourism, including clerks, maids, cooks, waitstaff, etc.
Results will be presented to the Board of Supervisors in January 2012.
The goal of the survey is to collect enough data and ideas to continue to improve tourism in Plumas County.
