Indian Valley Record legal notice for the week of 8/15/2014

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO
CIRCULATE RECALL PETITION
TO THE HONORABLE Jane Braxton Little, Mike Yost,  Brad Smith: Pursuant to Section 11020, California Elections Code, the undersigned registered qualified voters of Indian Valley Community Services District, in the State of California, hereby give notice that we are the proponents of a recall petition and that we intend to seek your recall and removal from the office of Board of Directors of the Indian Valley Community Services District in Indian Valley, California, and to demand election of a successor in that office.
The grounds for the recall are as follows:
During your tenure on the Board, you have:
1. Ignored clear, concise council from the 2006-2007 Grand Jury pointing out "red flags' you insist didn't exist,
2. Failed to maintain a system of checks/balances eliminating any accountability/transparency,
3. Neglected to verify financial records or state mandated audit reports from the General Manager,
4. Risked the safety/well-being of Greenville residents by mismanaging Greenville Fire Department, leaving it unfunded,
5. Violated public trust by habitually ignoring and/or discounting repeated inquiries from concerned citizens regarding possible financial inconsistencies,
6. Mismanaged public funds through blatant, systematic acts of Willful Blindness (thus far costing $473,500),
7. Allowed $676,375.00 to be stripped from Indian Valley citizens through fraud, felony embezzlement.
Recently you have:
8. Overloaded June's agenda showing little respect for presenters (local/others) or attendees in a perceived effort to silence opposition,
9. Failed to create a viable recovery plan yet haphazardly promote "panaceas" without appropriate research but malign the investigation of others,
10. Continued making decisions creating division instead of developing a system of inclusion,
11. Proven you see minor clerical/formatting errors that protect yourself but continue blinded to "red flags" apparent to the community at large.
The printed names, signatures and residence addresses of the proponents are as follows:
Annette L. Nichols, 619 Main St., Greenville, CA 95947;
Fredrick William Deacon, 405 First St., Greenville, CA 95947;
