100 YEARS AGO....1909Numerous forest fires have kept the officers and employees of the Plumas National Forest on the jump the past several days. A bad fire broke out near Taylorsville and another fire broke out at Seneca on the North Fork. During the past two weeks a large conflagration has been raging in the dense forests of Big Meadows.
