Pam Trebes of Trebes Studios will host a champagne opening showcasing her latest artwork Saturday, Nov. 19, from 1 to 4 p.m. in Good Vibrations, 278 Main St. in Chester.

Her show “Doing the Dance on Deer Creek” will reveal her newest mixed-media creations and photography.

Articles about possible school closures in local newspapers, paragraphs in school newsletters, emails and messages — they all add up to what seems like indifference in some communities.

Recruitment efforts for Local Community Advisory Committees have not been very successful.
