Dr. B.J. Brasswell is the owner of a new Ford automobile, one of only a few automobiles in and around Plumas County. It was brought up to him from Sacramento and he has already learned to run the machine.

W.J. Clinch, owner of the Plumas Meat Market in Quincy recently burned, has purchased the vacant lot on the south side of Main Street between the Plumas County Bank and the house house. The lot, with an 85 foot frontage will be used to construct a large two story fire proof building to be divided into four rooms of which one of the rooms downstairs will be used to house the meat market and the other three rooms to be used as offices.
The sales of lots in Chester's First Addition to Prattville subdivision is progressing satisfactorily. A total of eleven lots have been sold thus far: four buyers from Chico, one buyer from Iowa, three buyers from Prattville, two buyers from San Francisco and one buyer from Los Angeles. In the near future several pretty bungalows will be erected on this beautiful tract of land.
