Fire threatens Portola trailer park

12:30 p.m.

The City of Portola is setting up an evacuation center at city hall for residents of a trailer park that is being threatened by a fire.

According to a city spokesperson, a vegetation fire started on the Riverwalk behind Napa Auto Parts, and is advancing toward the park.

The trailer park has been evacuated. Fire crews from throughout Eastern Plumas, as well as the Forest Service are helping Portola Fire battle the blaze.

The Fire crews are good job that they reacted quickly and save the people.But the halls should maintain fire safety.
