Two Greenville residents were arrested on drug charges after authorities found 30 pounds of marijuana in their home Thursday, Oct. 18.
Jesse Lee Gaulden, 29, and Jennifer Angel, 25, both face four felony charges after the drugs were discovered by the Plumas County sheriff.
They are being held on $500,000 bail at the Plumas County Jail.
The sheriff’s department served a search warrant on the residence at 640 Main St. in Greenville at 10:30 a.m.
According to Investigations Sgt. Steve Peay, officers found 30 pounds of processed marijuana, 31 marijuana plants, honey hash oil, scales and cash.
Peay said officers also found a sellable quantity of psilocybin mushrooms and evidence that a controlled substance was being manufactured at the residence.
Gaulden and Angel were taken into custody and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and possession for sale of a controlled substance (mushrooms).
Peay said the case will be sent to the Plumas County District Attorney’s Office.
