FRC students give presentation on Uganda trip

Members of the Feather River College Enactus team (formerly SIFE) will be presenting information on their recent trip to Uganda.

FRC students Brad Marquette, Kambel Kenaston, Kelsey Summers, Alesha Lindsey and Owen Donnell, as well as advisor Amy Schulz and her daughter Alicia Bagley, spent two weeks in Africa, where they sponsored and worked on a water pipeline and worked on other projects in a rural village in the Kanugu District in southwestern Uganda.

The Enactus team will be hosting a presentation featuring plenty of pictures and videos to share their experiences and achievements in Uganda.

There will be presentations Wednesday, Feb. 20, at noon in the Gallery at FRC and again Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Moon’s restaurant at 497 Lawrence St. in Quincy. Both events start at 6 p.m. At the Moon’s presentation, there will be no-host food and beverages available for purchase.
