Notice of Decision Butterfly Valley Interpretive Trail Project, Plumas National Forest, Mt. Hough Ranger District, Plumas County, CA
As the Responsible Official, Acting District Ranger Chris Christofferson signed a Decision Memo on March13, 2013 approving the Butterfly Valley Interpretive Trail Project. The selected alternative includes approximately 2 3/4 miles of trail construction with three trailheads and approximately 400 to 450 feet of boardwalk across the main pitcher plant viewing area. The trail will be constructed in phases as funding allows.

Decision Subject to Appeal
This decision is subject to administrative review (appeal) pursuant to 36 CFR Part 215.
The appeal must be filed (regular mail, fax, email, hand-delivery, or express delivery) with the Appeal Deciding Officer Earl W. Ford, Forest Supervisor, 159 Lawrence St., P.O. Box 11500 Quincy, CA 95971.
The office business hours for those submitting hand-delivered appeals are: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Electronic appeals must be submitted in a format such as an email message, plain text (.txt), rich text format (.rtf), portable document format (.pdf), or Word (.doc) to firstname.lastname@example.org [Subject: Butterfly Valley Interpretive Trail Project]. If no appeals are filed within the 45-day time period, implementation of the decision may occur on, but not before, 5 business days from the close of the appeal filing period. When appeals are filed, implementation may occur on, but not before, the 15th business day following the date of the last appeal disposition.
