A free public use campground will be built on 10 to 20 acres of land located one mile east of Quincy between the State Highway and the rodeo grounds arena. The need for such a facility has been a concern since the opening of the Feather River Highway last August.
50 YEARS AGO..........1963
A project has been undertaken of erecting a permanent memorial to all Plumas County men who lost their lives in World War II. A 7 X 4 foot black granite plaque will be placed in front of the Plumas County courthouse building in Quincy, possibly this Veteran’s Day.
