Plumas Arts invites one and all to its 10th annual Mountain Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds from 1 to 5 p.m. This lively community event combines tastings of micro-brewed beers and organic and sustainable wines, accompanied by live music and surrounded by fall color.

Plumas Arts is pleased to announce the return of SambaDa for the headlining musical performance from 3 to 5 p.m. The band’s hybrid musical sounds fuse Afro-Brazilian percussion music, samba-reggae, surf-rock and California funk into an infectious celebration of sound and life that will get everyone up and dancing.

The Mountain Harvest Festival is one of the major fundraising efforts that helps keep Plumas Arts bringing events, services and programs to the local community all year long.

Tickets are on sale now. Non-tasting event admission is $15, or $10 for Plumas Arts members. Tasting passes, which include event admission and a souvenir tasting glass, are $35 general admission or $30 advance sale only for Plumas Arts members. Admission at the gate is $40. Overnight camping is available for $15 per site. RV hookups are $20.

For more information about the event or to purchase advance tickets check the website at plumasarts.org.
