Conference play is shaping up real nice for the Feather River College volleyball team, which restarted home play last week with its match against Butte on Oct. 16. The Eagles played their first home game since Sept. 3, following it up with another home game against Lassen College two days later.

FRC took down Butte in the fifth game and dominated Lassen in three games. FRC’s win over Lassen marks the fifth consecutive match the Eagles have won. The week before, FRC took down Shasta and College of the Redwoods to start the team’s conference play with wins.

“We’ve been doing good,” commented FRC coach Sarah Ritchie. “We finally started eliminating a lot of mistakes that we were making earlier in the season.”

The two wins last week bring FRC’s record up to 15-8 overall and an undefeated 4-0 in conference play. FRC is ranked fourth in northern California and 13th in the state in the most recent poll by the California Community College Athletics Association.

The Eagles will host College of the Siskiyous on Oct. 25 at 6 p.m.
