The property owner reported that he was burning his hay fields and that everything was under control. The owner said there was a large ditch between the burn and adjacent property.

Deputies investigated the situation. They said they traveled all the way around the burn area and that the burn was under control and far away from any residences. Smoke from the fire was visible in much of the Indian Valley area.
