State Route 70 has reopened following a closure due to a rock slide near the Storrie Bridge in the Feather River Canyon, Plumas County, CA.

This slide is located 27 miles south of the Greenville Wye (junction of Highways 70 and 89.)

The Feather River Canyon route was closed off and on in various locations all weekend during heavy rain storms.

Motorists are advised to watch for large rocks in the roadway and call 1-800-427-ROAD or check the Caltrans Highway Information Network before traveling.
