Public hearing on asphalt plant
Notice of Public Hearing
    The Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing on the following matter on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in the Conference room of the Plumas County Permit Center, 555 Main Street, Quincy, CA.
    10 a.m.  Special Use Permit to reestablish an Asphalt Plant at an existing aggregate pit Chester Pit #2 South (CA Mine ID #91-32-0019)
    Sierra Cascade Aggregate and Asphalt
    This project is a Special Use Permit to erect and operate an Asphalt Plant.  There was previously a permitted asphalt plant at the site. This plant is proposed to be located at 951 1st Avenue, Chester, CA; T28N/R7E/Section 18, MDM.
    This project is exempt under CEQA Guidelines [Section 15061(b)(3)] as Plumas County Codes, reflected in Special Use Permit conditions as well as permitting requirements of state and local agencies, serve to address any possible impacts.  This project is also in conformance with Negative Declarations 484 and 548 which were previously adopted by the County for this project.

    All interested persons are welcome to attend the above hearing and will be given an opportunity to address the Zoning Administrator.
