Quincy High School varsity basketball standout Brady Rick was unanimously voted the Mid-Valley League’s Co-Most Valuable Player for the 2014 season.

“It’s uncommon to have an individual coming from a third-place team to be unanimously voted the conference Most Valuable Player,” commented Quincy coach Mike Woodlee.

The 6-foot, 4-inch, 205-pound junior averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds per game and made 82 percent from the free-throw line while leading the Trojans to two playoff games and scoring a season high of 38 points during the last game of the season.

Rick notched 17 double-doubles while dominating the boards all season for the Trojans with game high of 20 rebounds.
