Two Feather River College students are being held at the Plumas County Jail on felony charges of sexual misconduct.
Jordon Daniel Lozano, 18, and Darnell Maurice Flannigan, 19, were arraigned Feb. 18 in the Plumas County Superior Court.
Lozano, who was formerly a member of the FRC basketball team, is facing two felony charges: sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl and statutory rape. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Flannigan, who was formerly a member of the FRC football team, is charged with two felony counts: committing lewd and lascivious acts and sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl while she was under the influence of alcohol. His bail was set at $10,000.
Superior Court Judge Ira Kaufman appointed Quincy attorneys Bill Abramson to represent Lozano and Robert Zernich to represent Flannigan.
Lozano entered a plea of innocent. As of Feb. 20, Flannigan had not yet entered a plea.
